I cannot comment on the quality of the work here, but my 3 minute experience with this business was horrible. I walked into the shop and showed the tailor a pair of pants I wanted the waist taken out. There were some (very few) white fibers sort of clinging to the pants. He said "what's this?, a dog or a cat?" I said we have a cat but I don't think its cat fur. He said that he was allergic to it so he couldn't work on it. He said to bring it to the cleaners down the street and bring it back, then he said to just bring it there, they will hem it for you. (I didn't even want a hem). It was clear he didn't want to work on it. So, I said ok. I was a little upset, but figured maybe he was majorly allergic or something. So he went back to his tailoring work about 30 feet away from the desk. I was trying to put the pants back on the hanger and fix it with the suit jacket over it and he came back and said "You can't do that here". So there I was with my suit jacket and pants all bunched up in my hands with the plastic cover, etc. and he opened the front door. I walked out and he slammed the door. So there I was out in the street with the whole mess. It was just a very weird and worst experience I've had with a small business like that.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The day before the senior prom my son went to pick up the tux he rented and paid for in full. At 2pm there was a note on the door saying the proprietors left early for the day. While there, a delivery person showed up at the door and was unable to make his delivery.

At 12 noon the day of the prom my son returned to the company to once more try to pick up his tux. He was told by the owner that the tux was not there and would not be available for the event scheduled that night. My son was instructed by the proprietor to go to the mall and buy a tux or suit for the event.

My husband called the owner to make arrangements to have the cost of the tux credited to me since the company failed to provide the service they were contracted to provide. Furthermore, I believe this company owes me the cost of the suit I had to buy to accommodate for their unprofessional business. The proprietor called my husband a baby, told him to come down to the store and speak to him face to face, threatened him by saying he (the owner) knows a lot of people in Watertown, refused to cover any of the additional costs that his incompetence caused, and told my husband to get off his F***ing phone.

I then called this business owner to inform him that we were aware that he was not available for the delivery the day before, and make sure my money would be returned to me for the services NOT rendered. I expressed my displeasure for the way my husband and son had been treated as customers of this organization. At this point the owner told me to F*** off and hung up on me.

While shopping for a tux I received a phone call from the owner telling me that he could not credit my account and if I wanted my money I would need to go to the store and pick it up personally. I went to the store. I told this owner that his lack of professionalism now cost me an additional $282.00 and he should be responsible to cover at least part of these extra costs. The owner smirked and said “I don’t do this”. He then asked me “is $282.00 the end of the world for you?” He laid $180.00 in cash on the counter and said “give me $5.00 in change”. I told him I would not make change for him if he needed change he would have to break the larger bill himself. He tried to complain, and I asked him if $5.00 was the end of the world for him.

I walked out with the $180.00, no tux, hours of inconvenience, and a $282.00 bill to make up for this gentlemen’s lack of service. Completely unacceptable, unprofessional, threatens customers, and is not a man with any honor or integrity!! Do yourself a favor and find another company to provide your tux/tailoring services.
