Quality Trust for Individuals with Disabilities is an independent organization that offers advocacy and monitoring solutions. The organization serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the District of Columbia. It provides the Legal Education and Advocacy program, which works on a range of systemic and individual matters. Quality Trust for Individuals with Disabilities also offers personal support facilitation and collaboration and outreach services. The organization manages the Family EMPOWERment Center, which offers support, guidance and training solutions. The center operates an accessible resource room that maintains reference materials, online resources and books, as well as adaptive computer workstations with touch screens.
