While in law school, Ms. Riggs also interned for the Honorable Judge Richard Young of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. In her third year, Ms. Riggs took part as a student attorney in the D.C. Law Students in Court program representing indigent defendants in D.C. Superior Court for various misdemeanor and juvenile offenses. Ms. Riggs also served as the American Bar Association Student Division Liaison to the Labor and Employment Law Section.

Employment Discrimination
Ms. Parks currently represents clients in the federal sector, before both the Merit Systems Protection Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In particular, she handles removal and other disciplinary actions, reductions-in-force, and whistleblower retaliation appeals, as well as claims of employment discrimination. She also represents and advises employees who are subjects of investigations, and represents employees in mediations.
