CVS Pharmacy

I give this store one star simply because it exists, and that's better than nothing. Plus it came into the neighborhood before anyone else was willing. That said, I only go there in a case of sheer desperation. I've been the only customer with three clerks behind the counter and it takes me 10 minutes to make my purchase. i've been at the pharmacy where there are 20 people in line, and the clerk sees a friend and pulls them to the front of the line while others have waited 30 minutes. Items are not always shelved in the correct location, and if you ask for an item you know they have - they immediately say they don't carry it (like paper!). Forget the whole photo center or purchasing stamps (while clearly advertized in the window) - nobody knows how to deal with these issues. This store is across the street from my condo, and I will drive to Woodley Park if I need to go to CVS, it's that bad. Thankfully we now have the Target. The Target pharmacy leaves much to be desired, but it's better than CVS!

This CVS store is great! The extended hours are a plus, the staff is very helpful and the female manager is always on her job. The only griff with this store is the lack of cashiers. The lines are always long but the new self check out machines are a big help.
