Providence Mutual

Received a cancellation notice get this it said they were cancelling our policy because we were Selling the house.
Also because there was moss on a few shingles, because we covered the screens on a 3 season porch with a tarp.
What is happening with this company.
I would never recommend these people to anyone!!
I would rate them a-10.

They Cancelled my policy for non payment after they neglected to take my payment with auto withdrawal (they had already taken 9 payments with monthly auto withdrawal). Then 3 months later they withdrew a payment for a renewal policy even though they cancelled the policy!

This insurance company would no renew my policy due to a fault claim. Why do we pay for insurance? We spent our live paying for insurance policies and when we need the support from these companies to follow through with claims they do not in stead they are allowed to due such things as drop carriers. So disgusted with these insurance companies and what they are allowed to get away with.

This write up in in review of Providence Mutual. Based off my personal opinion, I have found that this organization is not ethical in their ways of working. After filing a claim for serious issue with our home, we were rejected coverage for reasons that were not backed up by evidence. When evidence was requested to support the rational for not paying the claim, we were simply ignored by the company - no one can answer the questions asked. After numerous letters sent via certified mail, the company has yet to respond to our specific requests. Importantly, state laws typically require that insurance companies respond within 60 days, in writing... Not providence mutual in my specific case. I am ashamed to say that I am a customer of providence mutual - and its my opinion that anyone who reads this review should think twice about giving providence mutual your hard earned money. Providence Mutual, Is it worth the risk ?
