Liberty Mutual Insurance

Keep away from these folks, After they take payment from you, when there is a problem or issues they are NOwhere to be found. My agent David T., I signed up with him in Fed 2013 for a new home mortgage. and in Aug Liberty Mutual sends me a check in the mail. I asked David why is the check refunded. he states that its because they could not verify that I lived at that location. Which was a LIE as Liberty Mutual had got to my mortgage company and asked them for funds, and Mortgage company paid them out, Realizing that it was over payment Liberty Mutual did the right thing by sending me the check for over payment, but then David A. Thommes offices sends me a letter stating that if i cash that check, they will cancel my insurance. I didn't cash the check. In Dec 2013. David sends me a letter to renew where my mortgage payment jumps $300 w.o any explanation to why. I asked for re-quote via email and by ph. but no reply or call back. No explanation. I found anther insurance company that offered higher benefits, and lower premium and Moved my insurance away from these guys. Talked to my mortgage company and who then advised me that they paid Liberty Mutual funds back in Aug 2013. I called and emailed David and his reply was that how he has been in the industry for 10+ yrs and how he knows takes good care of his customer. for that 1 yr that I have been w. Liberty, I have made 20 calls to them and of which 15 of them were directly to David, and he was never in the office. When I called his office, they tell me that he checks his VM, go ahead and leave a message and he will get back to you. It is a good thing i didn't have a serious life threatening emergency. Clearly Liberty Mutual and/ David do not care for their customer. STAY AWAY FOLKS. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!
