Nightingale Health Care

My mom was there for all of one day in 2013 before we drove her back to the hospital (they flat out refused call an ambulance for her & she could barely walk to the wheelchair we placed in front of her bed for her to get in, she was on dialysis and was recovering from the after-effects of severe sepsis). NEVER EVER put your loved one in this terrible place! Thankfully we were able to get her out of there, but I feel badly for those individuals who are stuck in there. The staff members are rude, there is no air conditioning or phones in the rooms, the place is infested with gnats, the food is served cold, the residents are neglected, and the area with TBI patients reeks of urine! I would give this place ZERO stars if I could.

My relative has been there for almost 3 years and it's no different than any other facility I've been to. If you're worried about your loved one's care, visit often. The state and these homes are SO GREEDY about how the person will pay and how long they will be able to pay that Warren Woods became the only option for us, and the only place who was willing to take my family member right away. For that, I will always be grateful. Plus they have activities around the clock and even go on outings every month, something my relative could not do while receiving care in his own home. This place has been a blessing for us, but I still visit VERY OFTEN. You have to. Also, they have a pretty low turnover rate. I've been dealing with the same staff since Day 1 and appreciate that.

I have a relative there and they not treating him right. The Social workers and Administrator not doing there Job. They lie to the family members saying they take good care of them but don't. The old D.O.N is married to the administrator all they doing is taking money from the people that there. Giving them $30 dollars or $60 dollar out of there check. State is trying to find a new management to come in and take over.

My cousin is a current patient there, as of about 2 weeks ago. He's told the family that he still hasn't received a shower after asking numerous times daily and has had an accident and they actually left him sitting in his own feces for over three hours!!! With his open wounds, that alone can cause him more mass infections or worse, kill him!!! What the hell kind of place and people do that to their patients??? He's told us that all the patients he's encountered have said they'd rather be dead than be admitted there. He's said when the nurses actually do their job that they're extremely rude in every aspect. There are patients are all over the hallways, running into one another and no one helps them get to where they're needing to be going. This place is a literal hell hole and should be condemned and shut down IMMEDIATELY! PEOPLE THAT HAVE NO HEART OR COMPASSION SHOULDN'T BE INVOLVED IN PATIENT CARE, PERIOD!!! Remove your family while they're still alive 'cause this place.. WILL KILL THEM!

Please don't put loved ones there. The place is dirty and very understaffed. I have had to bring my mom food everyday and help her with everything. When using the call button you better be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes!
