Overall

Chuck – maybe reading it will make more sense to you Wednesday, February 27, 2013

We brought the car in to have you put the head gasket sealer in it because according to the instructions the thermostat had to be removed are where it was located I didn’t have the tools to do it.

When we got it back we drove it from our place to Norwalk and it over heated and shut down. The radiator was cold.

The only reasons this would happen is

• No water in the radiator

• Thermostat won’t open

• The water pump not working

You drove it back to Wakeman from Norwalk so once again it would have overheated causing more engine stress. I believe that was irresponsible and you should have had it towed hence why I wouldn’t drive it.

I told you I didn’t want to put a lot of money in to this car.

It is my opinion that your workers failed to follow the instructions on the head gasket sealer hence causing the thermostat to get blocked and the product not to circulate properly to seal the head.

If the head gasket had been so bad as to interfere with the coolant flow we would have seen it in the exhaust which we never did.

Instead of finding out why it overheated you took it on yourself to go ahead and take the head off. I never authorized any further work.

You have had the car since mid November (3 ½ months) and had numerous things happen that you have admitted to, namely breaking the cam shaft and oil pan (which is beyond me).

We had it back two weeks and again it over heated and there was no coolant or oil showing on the dipstick.

You say you found a coolant leak nothing to do with what you had done – coincidence – I don’t think so – maybe because it over heated twice if it wasn’t something your guys overlooked.

If there was no oil leak then your guys didn’t fill it with oil.

If your guys hadn’t been lazy and used the head gasket sealer as labeled this would have never happened.

I believe you should for just the inconvenience you have caused us make this right. I have no idea what other damage has been done because of the engine overheating twice. This whole thing is beyond my comprehension of how to do business and retain customers. I am truly disappointed in your performance and then your expectation that I should pay for the incompetency of your workers is unbelievable. And I still have no idea what else will go wrong as a result of this.
