        Hampton Roads Fire Protection is a 100% Veteran owned company. Hampton Roads Fire Protection offers fire extinguisher training that complies with OSHA requirements. All Trainees will receive a certificate of completion at the conclusion of the training that can be used as documentation for your organization. Our instructor is NFPA 10 certified. Hampton Roads Fire Protection refills and recharges dry powder, Class K, Water mist, and water fire extinguishers all over Southeastern Virginia and we do it right out of our service trucks at your location. CO2 fire extinguishers will take longer and cannot be done at your location. Dropping off your extinguishers is an option too! Fire Extinguisher Service: HRFP technicians are NFPA certified and will provide you with the best service in Hampton Roads. If your extinguishers require service or an annual inspection, give us a call! Our prices are very affordable too!! What to remember when using a fire extinguisher to put out a fire... Pass P A S S Pull the Pin at the top of the extinguisher. The pin releases a locking mechanism and will allow you to discharge the extinguisher. Aim at the base of the fire, not the flames. This is important - in order to put out the fire, you must extinguish the fuel. Squeeze the lever slowly. This will release the extinguishing agent in the extinguisher. If the handle is released, the discharge should stop. Sweep from side to side. Using a sweeping motion, move the fire extinguisher back and forth until the fire is completely out. Operate the extinguisher from a safe distance, several feet away, and then move towards the fire once it starts to diminish. Be sure to read the instructions on your fire extinguisher - different fire extinguishers recommend operating them from different distances. Remember: Aim at the base of the fire, not at the flames!

        Great company to work with. I got an estimate, got on the schedule, they came out on the scheduled day and did the job. Super easy, friendly and my yard now looks the best it ever has. I would definately recomend them and use them again. Price was good too.
