He is an independent advisor representative of Ashton Royce & Company, a registered investment advisory firm registered with the Virginia State Securities Commission. In 2006 and 2007, The Estate Plan, one of the nation's foremost estate planning institutes, named Larry as Outstanding Estate Planning Attorney of the year. He is licensed to practice law in Virginia and South Carolina. He has extensive trial experience in the personal injury, business transactional and construction law arenas. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Courts of Virginia and South Carolina and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Estate Planning
Many estate planning attorneys do not get involved in preparing and filing such tax returns, relying on accountants to complete this work. Some accountants may presume that the estate planning attorney is handling that work, when in reality, the attorney is not retained or been directed to do such work.
Trusts
Larry co-founded First Fidelity Mortgage Corporation in Tyson's Corner, Virginia which later grew to having over 10 locations in 5 different states. He also co-founded TermStar Insurance Company, an internet-based company offering life insurance products to consumers nationwide. He has served as the trustee of several irrevocable trusts and also served as a trustee for the Joe Gibbs Youth for Tomorrow located in Bristow, Virginia, and as a board director for a licensed adoption agency in Fairfax, Virginia.
