Kumon Math and Reading Center

I just can’t pass up this opportunity to rave about the Kumon Learning Center in Victorville. My grandson has been attending classes at the center for a year and a half. He has always been in a Special Day class at public school. He worked faithfully at his Kumon program and never missed a class during the summer. Now entering the 6th grade, he was tested in both math and reading. Not only was our family surprised at the wonderful results, but his class teacher was very impressed. He has moved up six levels in his reading scores and is at the top of his class in math.



Because of the support and encouragement at the Kumon Center and at home, my grandson has a new and enthusiastic attitude toward school and learning in general. This program has instilled a state of confidence and self-esteem that we have never seen before. Now at 12 years old, he has set a goal of becoming a teacher and is tutoring another classmate in math.



I would like to add one more comment; Mrs. Poonam is a very kind and dedicated person. She has a deep concern for each child that enters the doors of her center and has always been available when our family had any questions or concerns. I strongly encourage you as parents, to consider this program for your child. You will be giving them a gift for a life time.

I had my kid in over the summer. He was way behind and is now taking I.E.P testing to see why he is not doing well in public school classes. He has a hard time staying focused. Kumon has done wonders for improving his self esteem and behavior.His reading has jumped surprisingly high. His math has to be put on hold and Ms. Pooman. gave me no hassle when I asked to stop the Kumon until all his I E P testing is complete.She likes working with the public schools if that is needed to help the student and the school to understand the Kumon. HIS 4th grade teacher is so surprised in his reading improvement. The math will be in question until after the testing is completed.

This Center is amazing!! When I came to Kumon, my son was struggling with math. After 9 months in Kumon, he is now on the honor roll. Watching him receive the best in Math facts award was a moment I thought we would never enjoy. Kumon is a wonderful program but requires dedication on the part of student and the parent. Thank you Ms. Poonam for all of your support and dedication towards your students. We are now enrolled in both Math and Reading and plan on sticking with the program till our son completes it!
