Metro Mattress

My experience with Metro Mattress continues to be abismal. Once my credit card had cleared, so had customer service. It then took over 5 months for my day bed to fianlly arrive (I was promised 6-8 weeks max). I called repeatedly to inquire. My calls were never returned. When I did get a hold of someone, I was told the supplier had screwed up and that the manager was not available ...he'll call you tommorrow...no call. Eventually, I spoke to someone who said that she was the new store manager. She ensured me that if I agreed to keep my order with them, she would personally oversee and expidite my order. She said she would call me to let me know when to expect delivery. I never heard from her either. I had to repeatedly track her down to get the slightest bits of information. She then told me that my order will be delivered on a particular Friday in August. No delivery was ever made and nor did I ever receive a call of cancellation. The next day, when I called to complain, she suggested that perhaps I should purchase my day bed from another retailer. The following week, while I was away on vacation, I received a call from another assist. store manager (one of the only calls I ever received from them in this saga ordeal) telling me that the bed has arrived and it is in the wharhouse. We schedule a date and she tells me that I will be one of the first deliveries for the day. The day comes and almost goes. At 4:20pm the truck finally arrives. The guys come in, re-arrange my guest room to set it up and then they realize that they don't have they hardware to put the damn thing together. The leave my guest room in dissarray and suggest I call the store. Meanwhile, I noe have debris and bed parts all over the guest room, furniture relocated to my hallway and housguests due the next day. The store says, "Oh sorry, the hardware is on back-order". You can imagine that I have a few choice explitives for the folks down at Metro Mattress. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.
