Balance, harmony and quality education for your child is the philosophy of Once Upon a Time Child Care Center (Once Upon a Time). Providing a nurturing and safe environment is a given and is the foundation of the center. However, we expand on the traditional approach to child care and focus on creating a stimulating, interactive learning center blending basic theory and environmental curriculums with holistic, stress relieving life skills. Children learn A, B, Cs and 1, 2, 3s as well as how to care for themselves, the world we live in and to give back to society. Staff set an example of balance, positive attitude, leadership and responsibility. Teachers and staff support parents in their role in raising their children.Enrichment activities such as Art, Music, Nature Study, Sign Language, Spanish, and Yoga are included in tuition and are add-ons to the childrens daily classroom curriculum. Teachers and staff play with children not just watch them. Outdoor spaces are divided to create both age group specific and common areas. Play equipment is scaled appropriately, sand areas and other equipment are selected and constructed to ensure safety and to minimize risk of injury.
