Ramada Tropics Resort & Convention Center

They need to correct the name to Ramada Tropics Resort as they call it because this Ramada on Merle Hay road has an indoor waterpark with fun for all ages! The rooms are newly decorated & very nice, the showers/sinks were all very modern with half a glass door built in & no bathtub. The hotel was very clean and for the adults, there was a wonderful round bar in the waterpark so you can sit, have refreshments and watch the kids! We have a 9 yr old that preferred these bigger waterslides over Adventureland Inn's littler ones. We also visited the lounge/restaurant in the lobby and ate there which had huge windows to see into the the waterpark - the food was very good and fairly priced - moreso great you don't have to leave the hotel. The hotel is basically all inclusive in that you have a game room, waterpark, bar, lounge & restaurant all inside the hotel! It is much cheaper and poolside first floor was way worth the extra $10 or so to walk out your door and straight into the waterpark. It is also much cheaper on Sunday nights & during the week. We are planning another trip next weekend because we had so much fun and didn't get to the game room yet with like 4 real Nascar cars you sit in & drive on a huge screen in front of you! Looks like a great time!!! The only con I had was they forgot to leave us any shower towels!!!
