- We provide comprehensive family and cosmetic dentistry with an emphasis on your comfort. We offer the spectrum of dental care including metal free fillings. implants and tooth replacements, gum and root canal therapy, tooth bleaching, surgery and denture care. Dr Bers has practiced in the the Upper Marlboro community for over 30 years. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland Dental School and served as a dental resident at the Prince Georges General Hospital and Medical Center. He is a member of the Southern Maryland Dental Society, Maryland State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr Bers was awarded a Mastership by the Academy of General Dentistry and was elected to the Pierre Fuchard Academy. Our practice looks forward to thoroughly addressing your dental concerns and keeping you in first class oral health. We promise to take the time to provide you the explanations to make your treatment understandable.

I have gone to many dentists in my time. From braces to check ups, in NJ, NY, MIA, DC, and even in the DR. I have never encountered a more friendly environment! Joyce greets you with a big ol' smile and a soft tone manner as if everything in the world is right. If you want an honest opinion of your chompers Helena will never beat around the bush. "Honey, you need to get yourself alot of floss, your gums are bleeding too much" LOL Oh and Dr. Bers not only did he get my teeth the CLEANEST they have ever been, during the entire process he was talking to me about everything under the sun making the whole process go by without me being scared that it was going to hurt. He is also so very knowledgable and shared his knowledge with me so that I understood what was going on. He also didn't trying to up-sell me, he gave me his opinion and told me to think about his suggestions and let them know. Also they asked before doing services that would cost me additional. I was so thrilled with the service that I told my bf, sister, mom, dad, brother, sister in law, and brother in law- "I don't care that you live 15-20 minutes away, drop your dentist like a bad habit and go to Dr. Bers!" My appointment was yesterday so I still have a long list of family members to contact. I don't think I'll ever go to anyone else.

Provided by SuperpagesI hated going to the dentist so I never went until I was having problems with my gum. I called around to dentist in my area and found Dr. Bers and he was able to get me in that day. I ended up needing a deep scale cleaning and I was really nerves about it but Dr. Bers made me feel very at ease and everything went great I have been going to him ever since and I think that was 2 or 3 years ago. Now I will not go to any other dentist. The staff is very nice and they always remember who I am whenever I call or go in for anything. I have sent some of my family to him because he is so nice.
