Since its founding in 1936, Weldstar has become one of the country's strongest independent distributors of industrial and specialty gases, welding equipment, industrial and safety supplies, and related tools and accessories. Privately owned, Weldstar is uniquely positioned to maintain its high level of consistency, continuity, and commitment to customer support. It is our goal to be considered an extension of our customers and to develop relationships that bring value to all involved. Headquartered in Aurora, Illinois, the company has additional facilities in Logansport, Indiana and University Park, Illinois. Weldstar is a member of the prestigious IWDC group, which represents over 140 independent welding and gas distributors throughout the continental United States, Canada and Mexico. Being a welding manager with forty years experience in the welding field, quality and integrity of our weldments is the most important element. Weldstar plays a very important part of our quality team in that they are part of our knowledge support structure. I have built a support structure team over the years to help us when we have had welding challenges and when we have come across new welding opportunities that we want to pursue.
