The company provides chip resistors and attenuators, film substrates and circuits, fixed and spiral inductors, broadband conicals, microwave components and transformers. It manufactures circuits on a variety of substrates, including alumina, beryllia, aluminum nitride, silica quartz and ferrites. Piconics also offers sputtered, electroless and electroplated coating processes. The company is an ISO 9001:2000-certified manufacturer, and its military products meet the requirements of MIL-PRF-15305 and MIL-PRF-83446. Piconics test equipment consists of state-of-the-art instruments for measuring inductors and other reactive devices, such as phase shifters, filters and delay lines. The company was founded in 1963 and is based in Tyngsboro, Mass.
