Horrible service. Had a ring under warranty break, took it in and they sent off repair. 3 months later it shows up. I go to pick it up and it's a different ring. They tell me they couldn't fix it so they have me a different ring of their choice. The new ring was no were near what my original was so I ended up having to call the ring manufacturer and they allowed me to pic a new ring (their brand). Used lay to have ring resized which took 6 weeks. Called today to see if it was ready and they said it had been at store for 3 weeks they just forgot to call.

Hi I'm Alison Vest When I signed up for a Kay credit card I thought everything was going great. Then I found out that I didn't qualify for the $10,000 insurance disability insurance policy that Beverly Roger signed me up for. She knew I was a 100% disabled vet and did not qualify for the insurance but signed me up anyway. Then I had a sapphire bracelet I turned in a month ago to be repaired. I bought it at Kay when it was more ethical. They still have it. Then I turned in my 23 diamond 3 carat wedding ring to be sized down from a size 8 to a 7.5. The Asian lady there had to look at it under the microscope first. She found a chip in one diamond and a crack in the other. Beverly Roger said it would cost $200 to replace the diamonds and they would not clean or size my ring down unless they replaced the diamonds first. I went over across the mall to where my husband was and told him what Beverly Roger had said and the other jeweler wanted to examine the ring to verify Beverly's and the Asian lady's findings. The chip was a natural chip and yes the crack did exist. My husband walked back over with me and everything was taken care of so I thought. My husband went to sit down in the mall and the Asian lady looked at the ring one more time and she found another chip!! So Beverly upped the price to $300 and had the Asian lady write over the 2 with a 3 and they would not give me my ring back. I picked up my ring 2 weeks later and the ring was not sized down looked nice and shiny though!!. My yellow receipt was taken and I was given a piece of paper with a bunch of zeros on it. I went to a jeweler across the mall and 2 employees there looked at the ring showed it to my husband and I and no work had been done on the ring!!! We went back to Kay and Beverly told me to find the chips and crack for myself !!! I told her I was not a jeweler and I was not going to pay for a job that was not done. Then Beverly said that the repair shop said that additional diamonds had been found to be damaged and the bill would have been $1,000. The repair shop called her and told her this and I told Beverly that if this were so then she would have called me and told me so that I could have made the decision about the increase and Beverly said that she made the decision for me. You do not want to know what happened today.

I don't write reviews, but I'm so fed up with Kay that people should know! My husband bought my wedding ring there a couple of years ago and everything was great then. But then they started hiring new people that had horrible customer service. I wish I didn't have to go in there again, but I have to go get my ring inspected every 6 months. And every time there is someone new in that store. If they don't think you are buying anything they don't care about you. When I go in there every 6 months they aren't friendly at all. My husband tried to go in there last year to buy earrings for our first year anniversary and they didn't even want to help him out. He got pissed and went over to Helzberg to buy them for me! The people at Helzbery are friendly and soooooo nice over there. It's like hell and heaven between the two. Every 6 months I go in there and they are great every time and I enjoy going in there. The manager that has been there is awesome! So people beware of Kay!! They make what is suppose to be a happy time, miserable!
