Bonner Elementary School, located in Tyler, Texas, provides bilingual and regular classes at each grade level for students from preschool through grade five. It subjects include visual and performing arts, music, art, drama, dance, physical education, speech and technology. This is supported by the use of computers in the classroom on a regular basis, library and work centers where students practice math, motor and social skills that they have already learned. Its learning lab differentiates instructions in three core subject areas, including reading, language arts and math and the descubriendo la lectura assists bilingual students to read and write. The multisensory teaching approach intervention uses skill-building processes to increase the students productivity in reading, writing and spelling. The school is a part of the Tyler Independent School District.
