Braces
Bacteria and food debris must be removed regularly to avoid scarred teeth and infected gums. A soft bristled hand or electric toothbrush is recommended. Replace your toothbrush when the bristles begin to fray – with braces that means every 2-4 months. Interdental or proxy brushes are effective for cleaning between the teeth and the wires.

Affectionately known as the “Magic Orthodontist” by his patients and the public alike, Dr. Kerr is a graduate of Cook College, Rutgers University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He then received a General Practice Residency certificate from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He then attended an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
