They are awesome there, I go there atleast three times a week. Their employees are amazing and their prices are fair

I asked them to weigh my 5 lb standard and they refused, the lady inside then very rudely proceeded to tell me they were certified by the state every 6 mos (Its not) so they wont weigh my standard, I said fine can I see your certification and she again rudely told me she does not have to show me anything and does not have to buy from me. I told her that's great, I work near the state and I'll be happy to stop by and talk with the people in charge of the certification to see if they are required to show me. Its also very easy to put in a public disclosure request about when they were last certified.



IMHO its good business to show people you are accurate.

RCW 19.94.510 line (h) I don't think the scale is in a reasonable position if I cant verify the certification that MUST be affixed to the device at all times!



UPDATE: Apparently there is no requirement for them to prove certification. So I was incorrect. That however does not excuse them for acting like pompous pricks. If you are passing by Tacoma any time just recycle at Calbag Metals. (Likely where these people take their stuff)

This place is friendly and very customer service oriented. I came in with a engine block and they helped me get it out my tiny geo metro. They give you top dollar for stuff to, a battery 8 bucks thats higher then core charge almost :)

They treated me professionally, I have no complaints!
