I was on a short vacation in Arizona when I started having trouble with my Jazzy Sport scooter stopping/cutting out intermittently. I did a Google search for Mobility dealers and American Mobility popped up first. I called them and described my problem and they were VERY helpful - anyway, to make a long story a little shorter, my problem got worse so the next morning, I took my scoot in and they fixed it in half an hour, it turned out to be a broken battery connector making intermittent contact! I was expecting a bill anywhere from $100.00 plus - they could have up-sold me anything. They showed great competence and integrity by quickly finding the problem and charging me for a connector and 1/4 hour labor - whole thing @ $25.00!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!

THEY COULDN'T BE MORE PATIENT, KIND AND HELPFUL

THOUGH I DID NOT BUY MY MOBILITY SCOOTER FROM AMERICAN MOBILITY, THEY ALWAYS TREAT ME AS A WELCOME CUSTOMER. I'VE OFTEN BROUGHT MY SCOOTER IN THINKING IT NEEDED REPAIR, WHEN IN FACT, I WAS DOING SOMETHING INCORRECTLY WHEN OPERATING IT. THEY PATIENTLY EXPLAINED, TAUGHT ME AND NEVER CHARGED ME AT ALL. THIS IS A SMALL, LOCALLY OWNED BUSINESS, TOO. I LIKE THAT.

I have never written an online review before but after visiting American Mobility for the first time, I wanted everyone to know what a wonderful business this is... I needed help fixing my electric scooter and was on a strict budget. Technicians, Chad and Rick, assisted me and spent the extra time and energy on the issue to fix the problem UNDER BUDGET. The technicians we very careful to restore the integrity and safety of the scooter. I will definitely be back for additional repairs and upkeep.

Dropped wheelchair off on Thurs at noon for a simple bearing replacement...or what I thought would be simple. Was told at 3:30 on Thurs that parts would need to be picked up- went to shop at 4:30 and they had not even left to get parts. Friday was told parts needed to be ordered and I agreed to pay for overnight shipping. Monday was told no parts came in. Tuesday in a matter of 5 minutes was told parts not in, parts not ordered from right place, parts at shop in town, parts came in but were wrong size, parts being altered to fit- seriously in just 5 minutes was told multiple lies to my face! Finally, was told come back in 1.5 hrs and chair would be done- which it was, and of course, I was still billed for the "overnight" shipping which I doubt even occurred. Bottom line- if you want speedy service and honest answers and someone wiling to offer solutions not make more problems for you- DON"T COUNT ON AMERICAN MOBILITY! I would not recommend them and will avoid them in the future.

Best Wheelchair Service in Tucson

I have used AM for several years. The staff have always been great to work with and advocate for their clients. They will tell you what what needs to be repaired and what can be delayed. They have a parts inventory which means most repairs can be done in a single visit. That is rare. Most places take 2-4 weeks or more just to order parts!I highly recommend this company for sales and service of wheelchairs and scooters.

Best customer service I've ever had

From the person that answerd the phone, the tech that fixed my chair to the helper that helped me loaded my chair into my car, everyone was amazing. Hands down they are the best business that I have ever delt with.

I would highly recommend American Mobility!! They treated us with the upmost respect and took the time to truly understand our needs. Their staff has always been prompt and courteous to us. Their service providers has been friendly and knowledgable. I have a scooter that had been serviced by 4 other shops and they NEVER found the problem. Several hundred dollars later it was still presenting a problem. After American Mobility got it and found the problem I have had no more break downs. Now, for those of you who NEED your scooters you know how hard it is to let them go to the shop. Trust me it was worth having them check it out and get it fixed once and for all for me.
