She was fellowship trained in glaucoma and in ocular allergy. Her glaucoma fellowship was completed at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts and her ocular allergy Fellowship was completed at the Eye Research Institute of the Retina Foundation in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Madiwale completed an internship in pediatrics at Harlem Hospital Center, Columbia University, New York.
