Chiropractic Adjustments
We provide advanced spinal correction and chiropractic adjustments utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic care have chiropractors been able to provide the level of help and expertise that is available today. As a chiropractor who cares about utilizing the most advanced chiropractic techniques, Dr Brian Civinski has years of training, expertise and experience in helping patients get pain relief for back pain, neck pain, headaches, and other related conditions originating from the spine. Chiropractic care under a trained professional can even be used to prevent injuries and help you achieve total health or wellness.
Spinal Adjustments
You may notice some stiffness and soreness for a few days after your first treatment. This is a normal response to the spinal adjustments by your body. As we adjust your spine we are stretching various muscles, ligaments and tendons to promote proper alignment and movement of your spine. This process will sometimes cause temporary stiffness and soreness, much like what happens when you start a new exercise program.
Nutritional Consultation
What does nutrition have to do with chiropractic care? The goal of chiropractic care is to help patients achieve total health and balance with their body, and as part of that goal we provide specific recommendations on nutritional supplements and healthy food choices. Subluxation
What truly differentiates doctors of chiropractic from any other healthcare professionals is the fact that chiropractors are the only professionals who are trained to diagnose and treat what are called spinal subluxations. The word 'subluxation' comes from the Latin words meaning 'to dislocate' (luxare) and 'somewhat or slightly' (sub). So the term 'vertebral subluxation' literally means a slight dislocation (misalignment) of the bones in the spine. Although this term was adequate in the 1800s when much was still misunderstood about the human body, today the word 'subluxation' has changed in meaning to capture the complex of neurological, structural, and functional changes that occur when a bone is 'out of place.' For this reason chiropractors usually refer to subluxations of the spine as the "Vertebral Subluxation Complex", or "VSC" for short.

Dr. Brian Civinski, DC has been a practicing Chiropractic Physician for the past 17 years. He provides gentle care for children through adults. He utilizes multiple Chiropractic Techniques during his treatments including Activator, Diversified, Flexion-Distraction, Sacral Occipital, Toggle Recoil, Kinesiology, Decompression, and Laser Therapy. He treats a variety of neck, back and joint related conditions with special emphasis on chronic and difficult cases. He often sees patients with headaches, scoliosis, arthritis, disc injuries, sciatica, sports injuries and chronic inflammatory conditions. Dr. Civinski is a cum laude graduate of Life University where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. He has advanced knowledge in the field of Nutritional Science from his experience working in a nutritional laboratory after graduating from Rutgers University and working closely with his patients to achieve optimal health and wellness. He also has a passion for teaching, which is why he is a College Professor of Anatomy & Physiology teaching students entering into Health Care Careers. Dr. Civinski has many hobbies including his love for sports and music. He has been a musician, playing the guitar for the past 32 years.

Most insurance plans are accepted at our chiropractic office. We accept auto accident, personal injury cases that have resulted in back pain, neck pain, headaches, or other related pain conditions. We also accept most health insurance plans, including Medicare.
