Just look at yelp to see the truth. Incompetent and greedy in the most vulnerable time of people's lives. Here is my review from Yelp:
I brought my dog in and he seemed to deteriorate day by day in their care. I was hesitant to leave him in the first place but the owner made me feel like I would be killing my dog if I didn't leave him. After days of expensive treatment (about $5,000) and little inexpensive investigation like a stool sample, my gut told me enough was enough. On the last day they had him, when they brought him in the exam room, he immediately went to the door close to the exit and started pounding his head clearly showing me he wanted to go home. I was so mad at myself that I trusted these people who gave few answers and seemed so incompetent. I found better answers online and thank God he is like a puppy again and has been for many months since I went to this place. I hope I can deter someone else from going here in their time of need, it was a nightmare experience for me from beginning to end. (BTW if you read through the reviews and see some of the responses, the owner in one place argues she can't give out private information, then in many other places, she gives out tons of details, including names and treatments) I found this same integrity issue when I asked questions and didn't get real answers. When I spoke with the owner on the phone after bringing my dog home, she hung up on me when I asked a question. That was my last contact with her. Unprofessional, incompetent and I sensed no compassion for the animals. If your animal was saved here, it was probably a coincidence or a very simple issue.

I recently took my cat, Silo, in to the emergency room because he was not urinating often and I thought he could of had a blockage. After running a few tests, the ER doctor said my cat was starting to go into kidney failure and should stay the night and see one of the doctors in the internal medicine department in the morning. I agreed to leave him since they treated and saved my dog's life a year ago from bloat. I was very comfortable with this hospital taking care of my Silo. i am glad I did because they saved him.

When you are first time puppy owners, it is nice to know you can pick up the phone and speak to a vet about any concerns you have. That was us, we called Animal Emergency Referral Center b/c are aussie puppy decided to get into the trash. Dr. Fatourechi reassured us of any concerns we had, and let us know she was there all night if we had any other questions. She took our phone number and called us the next day to make sure Lilly was feeling okay. Thank you so much!!

I have a precious cat "Mia", and found her near a trash can by my house. The night she was found, she was infested with fleas, and very lethargic. I took her to this emergency hospital and they were fabulous, gave her a bath, medication to get rid of the fleas she had and gave me a bottle with milk already made, and show me what to do. All of this and only a charge of the ER visit. Amazing staff, caring and compassionate, and they checked on up the following day. Amazing

"They took good care of my puppy, Missy! She's all better now.

The vet explained all the tests they were going to do, what might be wrong with my puppy and what the possible treatments might be. After all the tests were run and she told me the results, she really explained what was wrong, what the medication would do, and what I should be on the lookout for. I am very grateful to her for making my little cutie all better! :)

The staff was very nice and helpful. They answered all my questions and even helped try and make me feel better. They even gave me coffee and cookies while I waited!"

I recently took my dog to the internal medicine service for vomiting - he would spit up all the time, and nothing would control it. I have been to other vets who just send me away and tell me to give an antacid at home and feed chicken - yes chicken! Well, long story short, thanks for Dr. Victoria my dog was diagnosed with a food allergy. It is nice to know someone who took the time to see what is wrong with him.

Never had a problem with them, I'm unfortunately a regular because of the amount of animals I have & they always seem to get sick after hours or weekends. I know most of the staff & considering everything that has happened with my pets lately they have worked with me. I am grateful to them as they have saved my first dog’s life. No bad reviews from me yet. Yes they are pricey but they are and emergency clinic. They are the closest to me. The staff is great.

If you have an emergency, this is the place to come to. They saved my cats life after she was hit by a car. Everybody was so nice to us and kept us informed every step of the way. There prices aren't much higher than my own vets too! Remember them if you have an emergency.

I have giant breed dogs, and if you are all familiar with 'the giants' you know how their health can be problematic! We have been going to AEMC for years because my dogs have never figured out how to be sick during regular veterinary hours! There is not a better place to take a sick animal! We have been in at all hours with an epileptic 165 pound dog who is in full grand mal seizures in the middle of the night more times than I can count; a dog who ate a big of avocados WITH the pits, and with all sorts of infections, etc. In EVERY case, the staff has been caring, considerate and most importantly, knowledgeable. They have resources at their disposal which one would see in well-equipped human ER's. Yes. Medical procedures are expensive. But these are HUMAN GRADE
