Rhino Painting

We Rick Heim of Rhino Pro painters do a large painting job on the exterior of our home which included the entire porch deck in late June of 2011 -

To begin with they consumed a surprising amount of alcohol while working - left for lunch each day and some of the workers including Rick smelled strongly of alcohol every day when the came back to work. While a lot of work was done BEFORE lunch very little was accomplished after. That made the job take a lot longer than expected.

It looked OK when they were done but they really rushed doing the (covered) porch deck. We don't use most of the porch at all - mostly just the area going to and from the front door so there isn't any wear.

By the 1st week of May this year the paint on the deck was a mess! Peeled, chipped a

and blistered. Keep in mind it's covered and for the most part protected from the elements.

We called Rick in May - he did call back and say he'd "take care if it"

Called in June - he talked to my husband and said he "didn't remember" us but would get back to us.

Called him again in July - no response

Called in Sept. - no response

Have called him 2x in October.......no response

The paint was bad in May and now it's a disaster! The entire deck is going to have to be sanded, or may have to have ALL the paint removed and repainted properly.

RIck Heim and his crew may be okay for small jobs but DO NO count on them ever following up.

Best to move on to another, reliable company.

Dealing with this company has been a great experience. They underbid all the other estimates and offered to start the same week. I was told that no downpayment was required for this job, and I only would need to pay once I was 100 percent satisfied. They started first thing and knocked out the whole house in one day. They exceeded my expectations, and their attention to detail was greatly appreciated. The house looks fantastic.

Any time I look to hire a contractor, I look for someone that I can trust. I want them to work fast, and I want them to be skilled and thorough. above all, I want them to care whether or not that I'm satisfied. I got all of that from Rhino painting, and I also got the best price on top of it.
