We are a nonprofit organization established in 1993 with the goal of coordinating a local demonstration project to provide ongoing analyses of the local needs that must be met in Alexander County. Our mission is to ensure that the developmental needs of children ages 0-5 are met in order to prepare them to begin school healthy and ready to succeed. We have a devoted team of professional and knowledgeable staff and are funded through Smart Start Funds, Private Contributions and Grant Sources
