From Simi Valley Cycles. Just wanted to say that Slava is an awesome person to work with. I was looking for a new pair of nice glasses. I checked out his store after Slava gave me his card at the shop. The place has a great feeling very clean and professional. I wound up getting a very cool pair of Ray bans. Simply the Best! There are a lot of places to get a great pair of glasses in the Valley, but Optical Universe is truly the best place to shop for a winning combination of service, selection and price. My entire family trusts Slava and his team to take care of us!

I've been going here for years for my prescription glasses. The owner is very knowledgeable about what looks good on you and what is in style. I get progressive lenses and I've priced them out supposedly less expensive, "brand" optical shops, and they were NOT less expensive. I would bet the labs the brand shops use are not A+ like the ones Optical Universe uses.

The guy is very smart and patient which is all you need when selecting a new pair of glasses. Trust is something that is needed as well and after being in his shop a few times just casually looking I felt I had enough trust to but a pair from him. Sure and behold I got the nicest most def pair of Persol ever. I look forward to getting out of bed now cuzz I look good BABYYYYY :)

The choice of glasses is always the most up-to-date choices. The service is wonderful, and everyone is very helpful. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Service is the best you can get! So are the prices! Believe me, I did a lot of shopping around and a lot of reading up on what you should look for in a pair of glasses so I speak from experience. I have never seen such a huge selection of frames. But most importantly they are willing to work with you, explain all your options to you and show you lots and lots of frames to choose from. And they are the nicest people you'd want to meet!

This is one of the best places for glasses and sunglasses with out a doubt the only place I would go to. There customer service is so amazing that I would reccomend everybody just to stop by. the prices they have on there glasses are amazing way better than any other. I was recommended by a friend to go to Optical Universe for my new eyeglasses, so I decided to check them out. I have never had a better experience!!!



There are a lot of frames to choose from. I ended up with Oliver Peoples frame and also a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses. They had my lenses in stock, so it only took an hour for me to get them! Even though I didn’t have insurance, the total of my glasses was VERY affordable, and they have one of the biggest selections I have ever seen. Especially in designer wear which is what I was looking for.



Salesperson Slava that helped me out was SO patient with me & my 2 year old daughter. He was helpful in choosing a style and seemed to know what styles would work well with my particular prescription. Slava offered his opinion without being too pushy. He was friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. I am completely satisfied with my eyeglasses. Very trendy - I got a much better looking pair than my normal style. I can't believe how many people have complimented me on my new glasses. I am totally satisfied and give these place 2 thumbs up. Please check this place out your will be as impressed as I was. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

We found Optical Universe back in june and were out on 1.5 month European tour enjoying what Slava (the owner) picked out for me and my girlfriend to wear. He said "You'll see you'll get tons of compliments" And We got compliments everywhere from Paris, Rome, London and St. Petersburg.

This guy has an amazing eye and talent in knowing exactly what to fit your face with. I am very picky with my Eyeglasses and Sunglasses and by the time we were leaving (two pairs each) we were like home and completely satisfied with the whole experience.

By the way i have never seen such a tasty and diverse collection of eyewear and sunglasses. Everything from affordable to really awesome stuff. And they carry only the LATEST, none of that "LAST YEAR MODEL" Of course we dropped over $1700, but then I have very good $ taste.

You owe it to yourself to check this place out.

I recommend Optical Universe to everyone!!!!!!!!!! i am from New York and every time I visit LA i choose to stop at this place and choose a few pairs of sunglasses for my famly and I. The selection is awesome and is always updated! The service is great, and the owner really knows his stuff- in addition he is are really funny guy and the atmospehere is the store is just remarkable!

Seriously. These guys have an insane selection and everything is the latest. Prices are very fare, but then you talk to them a little and they will give a break. More importantly the SERVICE is top of the line. You will feel like home. sunglasses and eyeglasses are sold here.

If you are looking for a new pair of glasses (optical or sunglasses), Optical Universe is the place to go if you are in the Los Angeles area. Not only am I a fan, but so is my whole family. We have all bought multiple pairs of glasses from Optical Universe and got great deals on all of them. The Owner, Slava, was a great help and even got me a new pair of Chanel optical glasses and Ray-Ban sunglasses at a great price and ready for me in only 2 days.

I recently bought new eyeglasses and had my prescription filled at Optical Universe and found the staff very helpful and couldn't believe the selection of quality eyeware that they have on display. I was called the next day that my new glasses were ready to be picked up. The onwer is down to earth and gave me good advice in selecting a frame and type of lenes that would be best for me.
