Serendipity Salon and Medispa

Went to Heidi with a Groupon. My hair is now chopped up and fried from highlighting over highlights instead of just doing roots. I have been having my hair professionally highlighted for 20 years and have never had someone charge me to tone it. In fact I don't recall having an extra toner put on my hair after highlights ever! It was a total "upsale", in fact I heard her do the same thing to another client. If you use the right bleach/developer on a client, you shouldn't have to use this step. I believe the subpar bleach is reserved for us groupon customers, because my hair is proof right now. I was left under the dryer 15 mins longer than she said, so she could finish another client. Then I left the salon with semi-wet hair so she could get to the next client waiting. I didnt realize until I got home and washed and styled it myself, how messed up it was. I've tried to contact her without any help whatsoever. Every stylist I've ever had has told me, "if you get home and something doesn't look right just let me know". Better yet, most stylists want to see your hair dry so they can tweek anything they didn't see wet. You would expect these things from a salon that charges $60 for a haircut. Lol, guess that doesn't apply with a groupon. I did the groupon because I'm new here and would like to find a decent stylist, not be taken advantage of. Just a heads up...just because the "owner" is doing your hair doesn't mean a thing. This is the second owner I've seen at a salon that screwed my hair up. They need to stay behind the desk and pay bills. GO ELSEWHERE!!!

My college-aged daughter went in for an eggplant to blonde "melt" & they turned her whole head pink. Didn't offer to fix it, just blamed it on bad product. DON'T GO HERE!!!

I got highlights & a haircut there and although my hair looked fabulous & I really liked my stylist, an additional $30 for a toner was ridiculous and will keep me from going back...I feel like I was ripped off!
