Citrus Park Gyn - Steven D Gitomer MD

I had a very difficult case and Dr. Gitomer was amazing during the process of me trying to figure out what was wrong and how to solve the problem. Every other doctor I went to just wanted to do a complete hysterectomy. Dr. Gitomer was open to the idea of going into surgery and only "fixing & removing" what appeared to be the problem. My husband is a surgeon and we both trusted him to do what needed to be done, but leave alone what was healthy, and he did just that!! Very thankful that I got to keep most of my "parts" and the pain that I was experiencing for years (really bad for one year) is now completely gone and my quality of life has dramatically improved.

The staff at this location are unprofessional and disrespectful. They do not return phone calls in a timely manner or speak to their patients with respect. Not recommended.

Have been a patient for 10 +yrs. Dr. Gitomer is the best and staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Gitomer takes the time to discuss any issues and never rushes you. Waiting times have improved and usually less than 15 mins. Dr. Gitomer is extremely warm and attentive. Would not go anywhere else.

I made an appointment for my annual pap with the Doctor for my lunch break hour and when I get there they tell me she is two hours behind and that I should reschedule with the nurse practitioner because the doctor is always behind and I wouldn't be able to be in and out in an hour. So I did reschedule for the nurse practitioner. But I had real concerns and she took some tests and told me I would have to call back in a week for results. They had some automated line call me telling me to go online with a pin which I never got to get results or call in. Well I called in several times having to leave voicemails for several days and finally another nurse calls me back and tells me that I should have used my pin to go online and that all my tests were fine and didn't address any of my concerns. I think the nurse practitioner should have called me herself and think there was too much going around an felt the service was careless.

D. Kobliska<----- was very rude and condiscending to me. then she told me to wait outside the room for her and forgot about me. The staff are ridiculous. your always waiting forever and they dont give you good direction where you are going. they made me pee in a cup and didn't tell me which room they put me in so I was just awkwardly standing outside the bathroom while staff walked by me until someone finally told me where I was going. D. Kobliska<---- then examined me and told me how I was obviously so uncomfortable and I shouldnt be etc. OF course im uncomfortable your poking my privates. The woman was ridiculous. I left in tears. I felt my problems were not even important.
