        Established in 1993, Capital City Youth Services offers various programs that focus on reaching out and helping youth and families who have found themselves in situations beyond their control. The center offers counseling and outreach services to youth and their families, and emergency shelter services to youth in crisis. Its services also include short-term residential care, case management, individual, family and group counseling, and aftercare. The center s programs are offered to runaway and homeless youth, children and young adults of ages 10- to 17-years who are physically and emotionally abused and neglected, and youth that are in emotional crisis and feel that they cannot resolve problems with their parents while living at home. It also provides assistance to youth with problems that keep them from attending school, and youth and families who want help improve communication skills. Capital City Youth Services is located in Tallahassee, Fla.
