I know no one expects much from car dealers, but these half-wits don't even live up to that poor reputation. Which would be fine if we got a good car or good service, but we got neither. We bargained hard for a 2008 Impreza and got one, and the trouble started literally the next day - engine trouble on a nearly-new car! Their attitude was, "you bought it, not our problem." And they were - sorry about this - kind of mentally challenged, They kept repeating the company lines like "we stand by our vehicles," with no substance behind it. They would not help us at all. We tried to get the bank to withdraw the loan, but you have to go through the "lemon law," which is really hard on the consumer.And the day we bought, we watched them take terrible advantage of a very naive couple. I bought a used vehicle from these guys in 2007 and the nightmare began. The car had never been looked at by their mechanics before it was placed on their lot, hell they hadn't even performed an oil change. The car had a huge collection of hidden defects, heated seats were broken, the passenger seat was broken, the CD player was broken, and within a month of purchase the transmission completely failed costing me $4000.00 in repair. When I expressed my frustration to their sales manager he told me to shut up, and enjoy the car. Be sure if you ever by a car from these guys, that you have an independat mechanic look the car over. You cannot trust their assessment of the vehicle, and get a warranty. I tried to refinance this car and it turns out that it cannot be refinanced because I over payed by $2000.00.
