With over thirty years experience in the fields of public health, clinical nutrition and women's health, Dr. Ian brings an extraordinary combination of skills, knowledge and sharp perception to her medical practice. She has served on the public health faculty of Southern Connecticut State University as well as patient educator for the Department of Obstetrics at Yale-New Haven Medical Center. She is a spokesperson for the American Cancer Society and an acomplished writer in the fields of women's health, nutrition, mind-body medicine, death and dying. In addition to a Doctoral Degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Ian holds a Master's Degree in Community Health Education from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from University of Utah. Dr. Ian is frequently found speaking to community and civic organization on topics related to health, wellness and preventive medicine. Contact Dr. Ian if you would like her to speak to your organization or community group.Â
