Will not go back. I know about service dogs, my son has one. I know they are not allowed on the seats or tables. They not allowed to eat off the table. so when an older couple carried in a yorkie, sat down with it in the bench seat, and then the waitress brought them a bowl of ice cream for the dog, the owner started to feed it with a spoon. I knew somthing was wrong. Then the dog jumped on the table and started to eat the ice cream from the bowl. This is the same bowls and spoons the customers use. We had already ordered a mocha and a coffee, so we paid for the drinks and left. By the way, the mocha was disgusting, it was a hot chocolate with brewed coffee poured in it. We could not drink it. I will tell everyone about the what we experanced. And yes, this happens all the time. The waitress (owner?) knew to bring the dog ice cream, then stood there and joked, laughed, and petted the dog, calling it by it's name. Then the waitress picked up the coffee pot and poured customers coffee without washing her hands. Uck! Very unsanitary. I am sure they would flunk and health department inspection, if an inspector saw what was going on. On a good note, we went to Berryland where we had a the best breakfast. Tasty, hot , and no dogs on the tables.

3 of us ate here last night, Friday, June 4th 2010 for dinner. 1 ordered the "Grandpa Jax' dinner special of 'wilted' salad, meatloaf & gravy, fried chicken, real mashed potatoes and gravy, hot cornbread right out of the oven. Don't let the salad name fool you - the salad is sooooo good - with hunks of bacon, caramlized onion strips, mushrooms, lots of dark green leafy lettuce. None of that awful iceburg stuff that most places serve. This is REAL GRANDMA'S RECIPIE'S FOOD & IT SHOWS!!! 2 of us ordered the bbq ribs! Tammy the owner asked us to tast the ribs and let her know if we thought it was done. The meat - boneless - is melt in your mouth good!!! Plus we had huge pieces of the cornbread - so folks - there is none like this! Yuummy doesn't begin to describe how wonderful - awesome -& delicious this is! The ribs came with a big bowl of her homemade mac & cheese! I would love to buy just this for dinner - there is chunks of sausage in the mix and again - faboulious! We also had a bowl of homemade baked beans. Sooo good! Eat here - and tell all you know if you love it as much as we did! We hear that the breakfasts are a piece of heaven too and we will try that soon.
