Midland Terrace Apartments

I'm not sure how someone could rate this so low. The person has to be one totally unhappy person. I have lived in many places in my life with an AF career. I have lived here 11 years. Yes, I own my condo but I would have never kept it or stayed here this long if I did not truly enjoy this place and the surrounding areas. Very peaceful and my neighbors are so friendly and helpful if needed. Privacy fence and cameras everywhere for our protection. I feel safe here thanks to our office and neighbors.

It's great for elderly people, which seems to be the majority of the tenants. However they are NOT advertised as strictly a "retirement community" so therefore that should warrant equal treatment of people all ages, this is NOT the case. You will be met with nosy glares from your neighbors if you are younger or have children, you will be open to many complaints. They will even take pictures of you to report to the overly-strict manager, such as sitting in your vehicle for "too long" for their comfort, so escaping to the car to speak on the phone may cause irrelevant drama/gossip. Having a few friends over and sitting in the gazebo's chatting is apparently "suspicious activity" as well. They leave much too many "notices" that are overly knit-picky such as "you are not to leave ANYTHING outside your door, so no you may not have a chair near your door, even the type of welcoming mat you have is up for scrupulous checking to ensure it is "acceptable" according to their standards.
