German Auto Repair

We were referred to this business to have a service done on our vehicle. From the offset, I was a little uncomfortable with using them because they are a very non-traditional servicing facility. They do not provide accommodations such as a waiting area or even a pick up or drop off service. This facility should advertise themselves simply as a garage. While waiting for our vehicle to be assessed, we stood outside, under a tree. We agreed to leave our Mercedes, parked under a tree outside of their garage, overnight to have the repairs done. We had to call these people to find out the status of the repair. No one called us the next day to confirm that they had started work on the car, nor did they call us to provide a status update. We finally reached them around noon, by calling their North Charleston SC location in order to request someone to give us a call. We were then told that we needed to pick up our vehicle because they had ordered the incorrect part. We picked up our vehicle and were told that they would call us to let us know when the correct part would be in. Two weeks later, we got a call advising that the part was in. However, they made no effort to accommodate our schedule. We explained to them that we could only come in on a certain day of the week and was told on multiple occasions that there was just no availability. Due to the lack of customer service and the lack of acceptable accommodations, we took our Mercedes elsewhere.
