Hamit Land & Auction, Inc is a Kansas based Real Estate & Auction company that was founded in 1984 by owners Don & Terry Hamit. Located in the amazing hills of Western Kansas, Hamit Land & Auction enjoys providing unparalleled service to its customers, auction bidders, and more. Don graduated from the Reish World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, IA in December of 1983. Don had conducted hundreds of successful auctions for individuals, corporations and estates. To stay abreast to the continual changes in the auction profession, Don is a member of the National Auctioneers Association and the Kansas Auctioneers Association. Don has served 6 years on the Board of Directors for the Kansas Auctioneers Association and has served in a number of different positions, included Chairman of the Board, for the Kansas Auctioneers Association. Don also serves as a Real Estate Broker. Throughout his career, he has sold several thousand acres of farm and ranch land and a multitude of residential and commercial properties at auction and by private treaty. Don was recently inducted into the Kansas Auctioneers Hall of Fame, by his peers. Enjoying ones profession is a goal in life for many and Don is lucky to enjoy his whole heartedly. Terry plays an important role in all things Hamit Land & Auction, Inc. You will find her front and center at auctions and events making sure that things run as smoothly as possible for the customers and the public. Terry is a member of the Kansas Auctioneers Association Auxiliary and has served for the past 7 years as Secretary / Treasurer. Hamit Land & Auction, Inc is a diversified auction company and experienced in many areas including Farm & Ranch Real Estate, Farm Machinery, Antiques, Collectibles, and Estate Auctions. Hamit Land & Auction has offices in Stockton, Russell and Hays, Kansas. Hamit Land & Auction, Inc is built on a solid foundation of knowledgeable clerks, cashiers, and ring persons to help auctions run smoothly and professionally.
