Jacky African Hair Braiding

I got two goddess braids which looked nice,and a good price.However don't pay the $10 to have your hair washed .I noticed. A bucket next to the sink the water had something floating In it.Next thing I know the woman used a cup and this water to wash my hair,they don't have running hot water.And when they say $10 for shampoo thats what they mean no conditioner no leave in nada.

I agree with t.graham91....she quoted one price over the phone but decided to charge additional $10 when they started my daughter's hair...PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT ASK THEM TO SHAMPOO YOUR HAIR!! I asked them to shampoo my daughter's hair ...My daughter said she did NOT shampoo her hair..All they did was wet her hair..I say it only took them 2 minutes and she was in the ladies chair for braiding... they did not blow dry her hair straight so when braiding her hair (natural) ....it was not smooth. I paid $70 and the braids only lasted a week...I will NEVER go back or recommend Jacky African Braiding Hair.. Also they were watching a show with alot of violence and my daughter is a young child...

I went here and got my hair braided. First off she charged me more than the other customer there getting the same exact braids as I was. Size and all! And she was my age. Then 3 different people did my hair but not in the way u think. One lady started and stopped to eat and talk on the phone. The First Lady was so occupied she didn't hear what I said and mixed color in my hair. Then another lady started on my front and the braids were big and bulky. Then the owner (Jackie)did the braids in the back while the First Lady was taking a break to eat. They demanded money before they were finish and I told them I would pay after they were done. So Jackie got upset and left me there with her two daughters the first last and the second lady. Her daughter then made the remark "what u think u not going to pay me" I responded by saying yes I am I just want to make sure the braids are to my satisfaction because Jackie stated she guarantees her braids. I paid then and left and 3days after my hair started falling out where Jackie did them in the back. Then they started falling out all over. After that I got tired of them pulling my hair out by falling out so I just took them out after being in for only 3 weeks. They were only in that long because I'm pregnant and have gotten lazy. To sum it up they do a terrible job when Jackie so calls guarantee her work. Please don't go here. It's a waste of time and money, and also they took almost 7 hours to do my braids and I got some big size braids. Box braids to be exact and no they were not very long! You do the math and make the right choice.
