Eagles Landing Learning Center

My son has been at this center for 3 months now and I am very pleased with it. They are more than accommodating with me bringing him late twice a week due to my work schedule. I normally do not do reviews but I decided to do this for parents that may be in my position. The whole daycare thing has been foreign to me because my mom had been keeping my son while I work. Things changed and I found myself needing to put him in daycare. I was terrified because I had not planned on him ever attending one. After visits to several daycares I felt discouraged due to unsanitary facilities or unpleasant teachers.



I drove by this center one afternoon and decided to give them a call. I was very impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness displayed in the phone conservation so I decided to make an appointment. Upon my tour I was beyond blown away, I felt comfortable speaking with the director who took me to meet the teacher and walked me around the facility. My anxiety level was still high and I even broke down crying during the tour. I was assured that everything would be ok and that he would be in good hands. Fast forward 3 months down the road and I could not have made a better choice.

Although the facility and staff are great for children, the management and or owner is one that is morally challenged. The manager has two different payment policies that are utilized as would benefit her when it comes to tuition. One says you pay by Friday or face a late charge, and the other says Monday. We happened to pay for afterschool and have always paid on Mondays. We were charged with a late fee after the snow day last week, the daycare was closed on Monday. On Tuesday we paid, for afterschool, but after losing my job I picked my daughter up at 130 pm.

Without a job I had no use for afterschool. Even though my daughter didnt spend one minute of afterschool that week, we were only refunded ONLY 20 dollars of the 65 dollars paid the day earlier. She utilized the Friday policy to suit her greed even though we have an original copy of the Monday policy.

We also found out that children that were attending pre-k do not get breakfast, and cannot be dropped off no earlier than 7:55 am.

She said that children who are late being picked up are charged, (5 DOLLARS A MINUTE AFTER 230 PM.) so say for instance you have a breakdown and it takes you 1 hour to get there ,, yep you owe $300.00 dollars on top of your bad day. I removed my daughter from pre-k , and plan never to return for daycare services.



If you want an honest, and caring enviroment to bring your children to, look elsewhere if you truely do not wish to be fleeced for every nickel and dime you have.

I read this review and I went to visit the school because I have a small child that can not breathe without being next to me. I was so skeptical because I have been to so many other centers and honestly I would not leave my dog there let alone my child. I was pleasantly suprised at how clean the school was and I loved the set up of the classrooms. I took my son there twice so he could get a better feel and he actually liked it. He started a week ago and he still crys when I drop him off but when I come to pick him up he does not want to leave. All he talks about is his teacher and his class mates he' s even gotten better with sharing. They do a lot with him and everyday I pick him up he's always so eager to show me his work. I truely love this center and I wanted to say a big "THANK YOU" to the person who wrote that review. I know my mom would also like to say thanks because without reading that review she would still be keeping him and he was begining to be a bit too rough for her...

My children have been attending this center since they opened 3 years ago and I am so pleased with them. My kids have learned so much from attending the daycare. I use the term "daycare" loosely because it so much more than that they really prepare children for school. I read so much bad stuff about daycare centers and have just realized that you have to go with what you feel when you walk through the door. The staff is so courteous and very sweet the teachers are great. They have an endless array of educational programs and activities for the chilldren to do. I too was not a "daycare" mother the thought of leaving my children anywhere but home frigthened me. My kids will be attending this facility until they are old enough to stay home on their own. In closing of this review recommed this school with the highest regards they are excellent and have become an extension of my family.
