He finished his residency in pediatrics at Lincoln Hospital and Medical Center (of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York) and Rutgers Medical School, and was duly certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Prasad is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and of the American College of Allergy Asthma & Immunology He is a past president of the Clayton-Fayette Medical Society. He also served as a clinical instructor at Rutgers Medical School and published research on immunology. Dr. Prasad immigrated to the U.S. in 1975 and became a naturalized citizen in 1980. He started his private practice in Allergy and Immunology in 1979.
