Great Lakes Hobby and Train

My family loves this place. They are more than a hobby shop...they have toys, trains, models, play horses, dollhouses. We like the unique items and their prices are lower than the internet.

The store can be a little messy.

My husband comes here for his military model kits but I found a great selection of Thomas the tank for my friends kids. Also purchased Estes Rockets and a couple of snap tight kits for other kids on my list, its like a one stop Christmas shop for the young and old alike. So if you like Model cars, ships, planes or trains this is a place you should check out

Great Lakes Hobby & Train is a great destination for modeling and other hobby supplies not available in ordinary stores; they stock a full supply of hobby knives, miniature hardware, paints, adhesives, styrene stock and many other items that no hobbyist should be without. Anything that is unavailable can also be special-ordered in, and for a lower price than buying direct or online.

Great Lakes Hobby & Train is by far the best for Trains, Models, Die-Cast, Model Paint & Supplys and just about anything you want the owner will order it for you. I got my 1/18 Batmobile there for only $28.00+ tax!!!!! On eBay the 1/18 Batmobiles are going for no lower then $50.00. So if you want to go to a great hobby store, pick Great Lakes Hobby & Train.

I have been shopping here for many years and have always found the store to be fully stocked. Their prices beat internet pricing (including special orders). My childern also like to shop in the Thomas the tank / toy department.
