Founded in 1984, the Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County is a community-based nonprofit agency. It offers 24-hour nursing and hospice care services. The agency s rooms offer various facilities. The Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County also offers palliative care programs that provide treatment for chronic diseases. The agency provides respite and acute care services and homelike environment to patients. Its pediatric program offers services to children up to the age 18 years. The Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County also organizes camps for children and maintains grief and loss support groups. In addition, it offers training sessions on pain and symptom management.
