Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services serves more than 65,000 New Yorkers annually through more than 175 community-based programs, residential facilities and day-treatment centers. The agency offers specialty training related to families, children and group psychotherapy. It provides a variety of services for the rehabilitation and intervention of children, adolescents and their families. Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services also accepts referrals from juvenile courts, hospitals, psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, social workers and school administrators. In addition, the organization offers behavior modification, community recreation, independent living skills, medication monitoring and parenting skills development and counseling. It also provides in-home case management and intensive therapy, domestic violence and parenting assessments, and educational and motivational support services.
