        I have two older cars one is 20 years old and the other is 14 years old. I take both vehicles to this location and honestly wouldn't take my cars anywhere else by choice. I know most people are worried when they go to a chain location because the fear is there that they only want your money. That could not be farther from the truth at this Pep Boys. They are super honest and never recommend anything you don't need. They are thorough in the evaluation and repair and answer all questions you may have. They even went to bat for me with a warranty company! They are wonderful in every way the customer service is superior from the desk to the mechanics to the manager. I know it is hard to decide where to take your cars for repair but I say you can't go wrong with State College Pep Boys.

        Me an my dad had a great experience with Scott the service manager. He even gave us a ride home in his personal vehicle so we didn't have to sit an wait. He was very reasonable, an very nice.

        Overall

        The Service Manager Scott was great. He fixed what could have otherwise been a serious issue with my engine in a fast, efficient and friendly manner. I was almost done going to any Pepboy's franchise but he restored my faith in the brand. I would recommend this store to anyone in the PA area.
