Laredo Mexican Restaurant

This is a horrible place! My boyfriend is an United Sates Vet, he has a service dog. Laredo's would not allow us in because we had a dog. I pointed out that she was a service dog not a pet, just in case the host hadn't seen the bright red vest & id tags on her side. He said the he wouldn't seat us without written proof that "Ursa" was a service dog because that's what the health inspectors told him to do. I explained to him that I have worked in the Restaurant field for 19 plus year and was the manager of a Mexican restaurant in the past. I have never been told that by a health inspector and legally he had to allow us in. My boyfriend also informed the host that according to the Americans with Disabilities Act the host could only legally ask two question: 1.) Is the dog a service animal? 2) What task(s) has the animal been trained to perform? The host the stated that if we wanted to eat there we couldn't sit in the main dinning area because it would be too drafty for that dog & the other customers wouldn't like having a dog there but he could make us a "special" table to the side.Screw that! We left.
