One of the most honest and fair auto repair places in Springfield, hands down! I've used other "larger" shops that supposedly "know cars" and there is no comparison. If something wasn't needed, Scott won't do it to just take your money. Very impressed!!
Please be advised Sunshine Automotive has a new owner Scott Maige doing business as Scott's Sunshine Automotive. Scott is a great mechanic who will treat you honestly and fairly. So give him a try you won't be dissapointed.

We were visiting from Oklahoma and had trouble with our BMW X5. We had to have it towed and just took a shot in the dark as to where to take it. This shop was wonderful. Its an older car and we could have been taken advantage of but they were very honest, fixed what needed fixed and were reasonably priced. Wish I lived less than 3 hours away so I could use them for all my automotive needs!
Great Shop he won't fix what doesn't need to be fixed and finds the problems in the first try usually and is work and turn around are great ... Use him yourself and find out you Will not be displeased .
Scott is friendly and polite. I have only been to his business 3 times so I can't verify long term experiences but I have recommended him and received no negative feedback. Most of the reviews were not referring to the current owner. Until I experience bad service, including pricing, I will take my vehicles there.
I would recommend Scott's Sunshine Automotive to all my friends and family because of his great customer service and fair prices. I brought in my '98 Mustang to get the oil changed. He was very straight forward with the prices. He immediatly brought it in, and got the job done very quickly so I did not have to wait long. Therefore I would highly reccomend bringing in your car to Scott's Sunshine Automotive for great service.
We have taken our cars to other places and were always displeased. We started going to Sunshine Auto a few years back and recommend them to anyone. They are always pleasant, know our names, and work quickly to get our repairs done. They are flexible to work with also. Will never go anywhere else.
Do not take your business to this shop. The biggest waste of money I've ever experienced. Had to go to another shop to get the work done. The owner is really hard to deal with and will go ballistic if you question him on anything!
Please do not waste your time here. The owner, STEVE, will degrade you along with cussing at you whether you are male or female. Also will say more things are wrong with the vehicle than is, and do poor work. Just check out the Better Business Bureau Report. F Rating !!
