acph is the reason my pet is alive today! my experience with this clinic could not have been better. they did exactly what was needed and saved my pet. they are professional, compassionate, and truly there for the animals. this is an example of what some other "vets" should be like.

I am so livid right now at the groomers. I will NEVER take my puppy there again. For one, they completely shaved my puppy, head and everything, all the way down to nothing, the groomer is rude and they charged me extra because she put up a fight. I knew they would have to trim a lot of the hair, but not completely shave her. Also she is 6 months old, never been to the groomers and you're gonna charge me extra for that? I told them they won't be getting my business again. On top of it, she told me I needed to bring her again in 2 weeks, um, she has no freaking hair, why would she need to come back? You just want my money. My poor puppy. She is crying cause she is so cold. :( Oh and they informed me that I'm the reason she didn't do well at the groomers because I didn't take her early on in her life. I could just scream right now.

I argued with "Dr." Blackburn for 20 minutes about whether or not my friends cat had an infected cat bite. No, I'm not a doctor, but I've owned cats all my life and cleaned up many a cat bite. Finally after 20 minutes of him telling me I was wrong, he said, "Oh yeah, you're right, that is a cat bite." Really? He gave her antibiotics and she died 2 days later. Over $150 to argue with this guy and still lose a cat. If you want to pay an arm and a leg for a visit with a big headed doctor who doesn't care about your opinion or your animals, come here. The only reason I left two stars is because the receptionists are really sweet, and never care when I bring in a stray to have them scan for a chip. But that's about all this place is good for.

i hope dr. blackburn doesn't decide on early retirement because molly couldn't have a better vet. very knowledgeable and always ready to give educational information.
