I brought my 2000 Ford Explore...

I brought my 2000 Ford Explorer to the location on louetta road to have the timing set. After they were done with the job, Truck was making a loud tapping noise which it was not making before and additional cylinders were not getting compression. Two cylinders read 0 psi and one read 75psi. He then tried to advise me to replace the engine. I decided against it seeing as how they already charged me more than what the dealership would have charged me to do the timing job. I then asked if he could check the timing and he refused, grew very irritable, and told me that his work was fool proof. They charged me 1,368.74 to set the timing which is well above the dealership's price. I asked him to tell me what I was being charged for and he grew more and more irritated and over talked in a loud voice as he said there was 10 hrs labor at 119.65/hr and a $63.99 supply charge. Even this adds up to 1260.49 so I inquired about that. He (The guy’s name is Andy) then said all I need to know is bring him 868.74 (I had already paid $500) or he is keeping my truck. Appalled at his comment and the fact that he was raising his voice at me, I asked him to speak to his manager because I didn't not want to argue with him. He then told me that he is the general manager and there is no one over him that I needed to talk to. So I asked him who is the owner and he replied "That is none of your concern. You just need to bring me $868 or I'm keeping your truck. I not going to have you sit here and nickel and dime the price you were charged." I told him I'm picking my truck up and I'm going to find out who is over him and report the conversation. He said that's fine and we hung up. I should have thought different about leaving my truck there when he told me he didn't have the tools to do the job and would have to borrow them from another shop. I called another location to try to ask for someone to report this to and I'm currently waiting for a call back to report his attitude and that my truck has issues now that it didn't have before.

I will not return to this shop or any of its branches. If they wrong you, they do not own up to their mistakes. The GM has very poor character and low integrity. That's not a good choice of a person to have in management and I found out through www.demandforce.com that the GM (Andy) has quite a few reviews of the same nature with other customers.

My husband recommended that I try Driver's since they were running a $19.95 oil change special. When I arrived, the front desk clerk (who later identified himself as the manager but never gave his name) asked what type of oil change I wanted. He started explaining that the synthetic oil change was $59.99; I immediately stopped him and said I wanted the oil change for $19.99. He replied, "Oh that's the synthetic blend. Gotcha." Fast forward to check out time......this guy gives me a total of $36.75 because I didn't present a coupon to him (keep in mind he NEVER mentioned the coupon being necessary to get the $19.95 special). He flat out LIED and said he never heard me ask about the special. To add insult to injury, he tried to be condescending by suggesting I didn't have ten extra dollars to pay for the oil change. The price wasn't the big issue--the INTEGRITY was. He saw an opportunity to take advantage of a woman and that's exactly what he did. Thank God for other auto repair options.

Whatever you do don't let thes...

Whatever you do don't let these incompetent morons work on your vehicle. I took a perfectly good running car to get the horn fixed and have it inspected. BIG MISTAKE! While I was gone they somehow fried some ground pins in my engine computer (PCM) and then called me and said that it had some trouble codes and that the check engine light was on. I went over there to find that it now had trouble codes for the EGR valve and the IAT sensor..which both turned out to be false codes. On top of that it disabled the gas gauge (fried ground pin for fuel level sender in PCM) and also would not run the emissions monitors to show a "ready" status for all of the different monitors and thus could not be inspected with everything now showing "not ready" in the PCM. It also disabled a perfectly functional A/C system. I believe some imbecile over there had my battery disconnected and then connected it with the key in the 'on' position which fried the PCM and they just pretended like it never happened and made out like I brought it in that way...pffft. I had to limp to another shop and have a new engine computer flashed and everything then worked just like it did before they let some moron fry my PCM. These wanna-be mechanics unfortunately cost me lots of money to have my car repaired. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place and take your car somewhere else. They WILL rip you off and ruin your vehicle and they couldn't care less. The saddest thing about all of this is that I was depending on this car to get my now deceased father to his cancer treatments and ended up having to find another way to get him there because I wasn't able to fix the car until after he had passed. Sometimes I seriously wonder how these low-life scumbags sleep at night.
