Bio-Tech Pest Control

Big disappointment. I called after reading good reviews...which I am now beginning to suspect may not be legit. $350 to remove rodents (squirrels, rats) from the attic and guarantee to keep them out for one year. First visit 1/2013. Now Bio-Tech has been out at least five times, but we still hear rats (or something) scratching in the attic in the middle of the night.



Bio-Tech blocked the access points they could find with sheet metal. The rodents chewed through that in about two days. Next, steel mesh, which is still holding up, but we still hear running in the attic. They put traps, caught two rats but no squirrels. Baited a live trap that I already had. No luck. They put a camera in the attic to try and see, but since the tech retrieved the camera, I've not heard from them, and that was over a month ago.



Bottom line: They seem to be trying, but I spent $350 to get rid of the squirrels and rats, and that hasn't happened. As of now, I'm almost halfway through the "guarantee" period, but the problem hasn't been solved. When I next call, I need to ask when the guarantee starts--on the first trip, or when they actually get rid of the rodents!

I have rodent problem, and they came by very quickly to give an free estimate. Few days later, we were scheduled for 3 visits to get the rodent out. First visit, set up traps; second visit, checked and sealed all opening including gutter, outside the perimeter and the rood; third visit, cleaning up and making sure everything is in place. So far, I like their service and reasonable too. The service come with one year warranty too.
