Fred Meyer Jewelers

My fiance and I went to Fred Meyer Jewelers to get new rings. We found one that was on sale that I fell in love with, more than 1/2 off. We talked to a consultant, Sue Bassett, who was very good at convincing us to purchase the ring. We got approved for the credit account and paid almost $500 in cash. We were told that the minimum payments each month were going to be $40. We were also told that we could come back within 30 days to add the lifetime warranty, which would be $100. We came to town the next weekend (hour and a half drive) to add the warranty. It ended up being $200, but we decided to pay for it, since a lifetime warranty is very important, even though we were told it would be $100. We went on our way and a week and a half later we got our bill in the mail...which stated the minimum payment would be $100...Totally angry at this point, since Sue told us it would be $40. I called and talked to Sue about the pricing and all she could do was apologize for giving us the wrong payment price. We ended up having to return the ring (after wearing it already for 3 weeks) because there was nothing she could do about the price except be "sorry". Very disappointed with this...We will NEVER shop with Fred Meyer Jewelers again!!!
